Guildford is not just the home to Surrey Bathroom and Kitchen Studio.
Did you know we are just 27 miles from central London and with fabulous road access from the M25, M3 and A3 motorway networks and train links in and out of London throughout the day and night.
Despite having a modern Cathedral we are not recognised as a City having applied in 2002 but were turned down to that cosmopolitan hub of Preston!
We do however have routes back to the Saxons who settled and developed the area after the Roman authority was overthrown. These days however due to recent development running north from Guildford, and linking to the Woking area, Guildford now officially forms the southwestern tip of the Greater London Built-up Area, as defined by the Office for National Statistics with an urban population of around 146,000 people.
All fascinating stuff I here you say but what does this have to do with Bathrooms and Kitchens? Not a lot really, its just that we are really proud of our town and wanted to share it with you!
